How quotes, payment, plan pages, changes and refunds work, in plain words.

1. What PDC does, and what you do
PDC designs the documents you send: layout, figures and formatting, in your brand and inside your page limit. PDC does not write your content, and never submits or uploads anything for you. You are responsible for your content, for checking the finished document against the solicitation, and for submitting it.
2. Quotes
The instant quote is a firm price for the job as you describe it: the kind of work, the pages you will submit and your deadline. If the job turns out materially different (more pages, new content, a new deadline), we tell you the new price before continuing. A quote marked "confirming" is checked by our team before you pay.
3. Paying
- Per project: you pay the quoted price in full once our team confirms the job, by card or bank, through our secure payment provider, Razorpay: on the page for a firm price, or by a payment link for a price our team confirms first.
- Card processing fee: paying by card adds our payment provider's fee on top of the price: Razorpay's 3%, plus 18% GST on that fee, about 3.54% of the amount paid. It is shown in your quote before you sign and pay, and it covers the provider's charge only.
- PDC Monthly: $299 a month, billed in advance. You can cancel any month, and the plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for. Teams who join at $299 keep that price for 12 months.
4. How PDC Monthly pages work
- 20 designed pages each month, in any mix. A slide counts as one page and a figure counts as two.
- Unused pages carry over for one month.
- A job bigger than your remaining pages is priced for the extra pages at 30% off the per-project price. You see that price before you pay.
- A job needed inside 12 hours adds a $120 rush fee.
5. Turnaround, and late means a refund
The turnaround in your quote starts when your payment and files arrive. If we deliver late, you get a full refund of that job's price, or on PDC Monthly, that month's fee. This does not apply when the delay comes from files arriving late, the job changing after it starts, or events outside our control.
6. Changes until you are happy
We keep making design changes to the document you sent until you approve it. New sections, new content or a different document count as a new job, quoted the same way or taken from your plan pages.
7. Who owns what
Once paid, you own the finished files and their editable sources. PDC keeps its general know-how and tools. We never show your work publicly without your written permission.
8. Confidentiality and conflicts
The mutual NDA applies to everything we exchange. PDC designs for only one bidder per solicitation.
9. Cancelling a job
Cancel before work starts and you get a full refund. After work starts, we refund the part of the job that has not been done. The full rules are in the refund and cancellation policy, and delivery times in the delivery policy.
10. What not to send
Do not send export-controlled technical data (ITAR or EAR) or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). PDC is not set up to handle it. Remove or replace it before you send, and tell us where it was so the design leaves room for it.
11. Limits
Whether a bid wins depends on far more than design, so PDC does not guarantee any award. PDC's total liability for a job is limited to the amount you paid for it.
12. The rest
We may update these terms for future jobs, and the version you accepted applies to your job. These terms are governed by the laws of the country (or, in the United States, the state) where your company is registered, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
